After a tour and lunch at the historic Mission Inn, it’s on to Flagstaff, where the wind in the pines soothes us to sleep.

The Lodge at Cloudcroft, with its rich and cultured past and charming rooms filled with antique furnishings, reminds us of a quieter way of life. A delicious Thanksgiving buffet fills our tummies and offers nap incentives. Our return takes us through McGinn's Pistachioland and ruin of Salinas and Gran Quivera.
