Sailing from Los Angeles, we enjoy a stop in San Diego before we head north. San Francisco and Astoria, Oregon offer their fascinating history before we arrive in Canada. There, we can visit exquisite Butchart Gardens and Craigdarroch Castle in Victoria before arriving in Vancouver where our cruise must end.

DAY 1             D

We depart Albuquerque on our flight to Los Angeles, where we meet our ship, the Royal Princess.

DAY 2              B,L,D

Our first port is San Diego, known as a place of infinite beauty, affectionate locals and endless sunshine. Located in the southwest corner of California, close to the border of Mexico, San Diego has a distinct cross-cultural feel, part sun-drenched Mediterranean atmosphere, part south-of-the-border zest and part quintessential California beach town.

DAY 3              B,L,D

A day at sea offers a chance to explore our ship, enjoy games or the sun pool-side, or luxuriate in a spa treatment.

DAY 4              B,L,D

San Francisco is a world-class city where cable cars and the Golden Gate rising from the fog welcome us.  San Francisco has it all: a colorful history, superb restaurants, sophisticated museums, world-class shopping, and an elusive air of romance and abandon.

DAY 5             B, L, D

Another day at sea on the gorgeous Royal Princess.

DAY 6              B,L,D

As the oldest American settlement west of the Rockies, Astoria offers a rich history for  exploration. It was first visited by Captain Robert Gray in 1792, by the Lewis & Clark Corps of Discovery in 1805, then adventuresome pioneers by the thousands. Now its our turn to experience the excitement of exploring Astoria.

DAY 7              B,L,D

Victoria exudes old-world charm and fragrant, colorful flowers are everywhere. Founded in 1843 by James Douglas of the Hudson's Bay Company, the city was first known as Fort Victoria. By 1848, Vancouver Island was a British colony and Victoria was its capital.

DAY 8              B,L,D

Our final port is Vancouver, where we must say good by to our now familiar home the Royal Princess and return to Albuquerque, relaxed and fulfilled
