Included meals are denoted: Breakfast: B, Lunch: L, Dinner: D
DAY 1 D
This morning, we depart New Mexico for northern Arizona. Our first stop in Arizona is the famed Meteor Crater outside of Holbrook. This is the largest preserved meteor site in the world! After our visit to this wonderful site, we will head to Flagstaff and check in at our hotel at Little America. Tonight, we will have a group dinner.
DAY 2 B
This morning, we head to the Grand Canyon to start our exploration of this geological wonder. Our first stop will be at the visitor center, where a film will help introduce us to the Canyon's history and current preservation. Following our visit at Bright Angel Lodge, we will head east along the rim to the Desert Watchtower, a wonderful site as the river bends west from the north. Following our stop here, we will head back to Canyon Village and check in to our hotel at Red Feather Lodge.
DAY 3 B, D
Today is your free day to explore the park. A shuttle system can help you get around the rim to explore different sites. Keep your evening open - tonight is our Thanksgiving dinner buffet!
DAY 4 B, L
This morning we depart the Canyon and head our way back to New Mexico. We make a stop at the Hopi Cultural Center for a lunch and opportunity to learn about the Hope tribe and their history. We will further explore the Hopi Reservation as we visit the Second Mesa and Keams Canyon. Following this, we head straight to Albuquerque.
