Become a modern cowboy at the Cheyenne Frontier Days. Begun in 1897, Frontier Days is now one of the most authentic and largest rodeo events in the world. We'll enjoy the Parade, the Pancake Breakfast, the Cheyenne Nights performance, a Chuckwagon Dinner and of course, the Rodeo.
Included meals are denoted: Breakfast: B, Lunch: L, Dinner: D
DAY 1 D
We fly to Denver early then enjoy the Denver Museum of Nature & Science. We'll visit one Colorado's famous breweries before heading north into Cheyenne. After checking into our hotel, we enjoy a welcome dinner together this evening.
DAY 2 B, L
Our day starts with a tour of the Wyoming State Capitol Building in Cheyenne. We lunch at the Historic Plains Hotel, built in 1911 and enjoy a tour of the hotel. The afternoon is ours to explore Cheyenne or head to the fairgrounds.
DAY 3 B, D
We spend today at the Frontier Days Fairgrounds. A hearty Pancake Breakfast fuels us up and we're ready to enjoy the exhibits and demonstrations that range from behind-the-chutes of the rodeo to elegant art. Tonight we'll enjoy a chuckwagon dinner, top-notch Western entertainment and an airshow by the Thunderbirds.
DAY 4 B
It's time to say farewell to the Old and New West. We check out of our hotel, spend the morning in Cheyenne, then head to the Denver airport for our flight home.
