DAY 1           D

We fly to Spokane, WA, board our waiting motorcoach, and drive to the beautiful Davenport Hotel. We'll lodge one night and enjoy a welcome dinner here.

DAY 2

We enjoy a walking tour of Spokane then board our coach for the easy drive to Wallace, Idaho where we tour the tunnels in the Sierra Silver Mine before checking into our hotel in Wallace for one night.

DAY 3              B
We drive into Montana to Glacier National Park. We make a stop at the St. Ignatius Mission  built in the early 1890's. This Catholic Church is unique because its walls and ceilings have 58 original paintings by Brother Joseph Carignano on them. The Mission Mountain Range is a beautiful backdrop of scenery behind the Mission Church. The church is located on the Flathead Indian Reservation. Once we arrive at Glacier, a 1930s “jammer” (roll-top bus) takes us on the Going-to-the-Sun Road.  We'll travel through the great cedar and hemlock forests that lie within the Lake McDonald Valley and stand on top of the Continental Divide. We'll lodge one night just outside the park in Whitefish.

DAY 4              B

We head across the Canadian border to Radium Springs, British Columbia where we will lodge one night.

DAY 5              B

We drive to spectacular Banff, deep in the Canadian Rockies. We can visit the Falls of the Bow River and Cascade Rock Gardens or take time to explore Banff’s delightful shops. In the afternoon, we ride gondola cars up Sulphur Mountain. Later, we can soak in the Upper Hot Springs or return to Banff for free time.

As we depart Jasper, we stop at Maligne Canyonthe deepest canyon in the Rockies. We make our way to Calgary, check into our hotel to refresh, then head to the evening Calgary Stampede show.
