Baseball Hall of Fame Classic Weekend Plus!

Baseball fans, we have a special Memorial Day week for you! We start with a trip to New York City with touring and a Yankees and Mets game. We continue to Cooperstown for the Hall of Fame Classic Weekend, with numerous events and a Legends game. And then we visit the venerable Fenway Park in Boston to see a Red Sox game, and more. What a fantastic tour!

DAY 1      D

This morning we fly to New York City, where we meet up with the rest of our group and enjoy a Welcome Meal and Reception to celebrate our Baseball Week Plus!

Overnight at the Sheraton New York Times Square or similar.

DAY 2       B

This morning enjoy a tour of Manhattan, a visit to the terrific Jackie Robinson Museum, and Yankee Stadium. Al Clark, a former Big League Umpire for 26 years, gives us his Ump's Eye View as we enjoy his stories and partake in questions and answers. And we then watch either a Yankee's home game.

DAYS 3 - 4      B +

Today we travel to upstate New York, to visit the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum as we salute the start of the summer season with this Cooperstown tradition, Hall of Fame Classic Weekend. The weekend will be highlighted by the Hall of Fame Classic Legends game at historic Doubleday Field, featuring many of your Hall of Fame heroes and favorite players from yesteryear. And you'll love Night at the Ballpark!

Our weekend staying in Cooperstown includes entrance to the Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum all weekend, a Glimmerglass Boat Ride on beautiful Otsego Lake, National Baseball Hall of Fame Artifact Spotlight, the Home Run Derby and Hall of Fame Classic Game - Features Hall of Famers as Team Managers and Coaches with former Big League players representing each team - and Night at the Ballpark Hall of Fame - Legends and former players will greet fans throughout Doubleday Field.

DAY 5        B

We depart for Boston this morning to catch a Boston Red Sox game in Fenway Park, and view the Green Monster. You'll love the intimate environment of the oldest ballpark in the major leagues. 2 nights in Boston.

 

DAY  6       B, D

Today we enjoy touring Boston and see local landmarks that make this one of America's most historic and scenic cities. Group farewell dinner tonight.

Today we travel back to Albuquerque, with fond memories of our baseball intensive weekend back east!
