Branson’s reputation as a top vacation destination is well-earned. The museums and other attractions we will visit are as diverse as the live theatre we will attend. Ethereal Thorncrown Chapel, six great shows in Branson, and two important attractions in Oklahoma City round out this tour to the breathtaking Ozark Mountains.
Included meals are denoted: Breakfast: B, Lunch: L, Dinner: D
We fly east across the plains of eastern New Mexico, the Texas Panhandle, and into Kansas City, Missouri. We then board our coach for the drive into Branson where we check in to our hotel for 4 nights.
DAY 2 B,L
Our first day is filled with interesting sights. We start with a tour of the College of the Ozarks’ beautiful campus. Known as "Hard Work U," this is more than a college. It's a destination with tons of family-friendly activities, including two museums, an old-fashioned grist mill, fruitcake and jelly kitchen, stained glass studio, and exquisite 4-star dining at Dobyns Dining Room in The Keeter Center, where we will enjoy lunch. It's a great way to spend a day while you are in the Branson area. We’ll have a chance to freshen up before our evening show.
DAY 3 B,D
Our day has a nautical theme as we visit two ships and see a third. The Titanic Museum, built at half-scale to the original vessel, houses 400 pre-discovery Titanic artifacts. In the afternoon, we board the Showboat Branson Belle for a show, 3-course meal, and cruise on Table Rock Lake! Tonight, we’ll enjoy Noah at the Sight and Sound Theatre.
DAY 4 B,L
Our day begins with a visit to the World’s Largest Toy Museum Complex. Great American food awaits us at McFarlain’s Family Restaurant before we enjoy our afternoon show. This evening, we’ll see another fantastic performance by a superlative Branson artist.
DAY 5 B,L
We check out of our hotel, but it’s not time to catch our plane yet. First, we’ll be amazed by the Fantastic Caverns. Fantastic Caverns is the only cave in North America to offer a completely ride-through tour, which lasts 55 minutes and is held in a Jeep-drawn tram. The trams drive along the path left behind by an ancient underground river. Now we must board our flight to return to Albuquerque, filled with the memorable sites and entertainment of Branson, Missouri.
