Included meals are denoted: Breakfast: B, Lunch: L, Dinner: D

DAY 1              L,D

We head south to Cloudcroft, stopping in Alamogordo, where we enjoy free time, a pistachio farm tour, and a light lunch at Heart of the Desert. Then it’s a hop, skip, and a jump to The Lodge at Cloudcroft. At 9,000 feet above stress level, this enchanting historic resort is nestled amongst the cool mountain pines and aspens. There’s just enough time for a lodge tour before dinner. A delicious feast awaits us, and we enjoy time with our Sun Tours family on this Christmas Eve.

DAY 2              BRUNCH

Happy New Year! We have a leisurely morning before our brunch. Take advantage of the spa services (additional cost) offered at The Lodge, or go on a mountain stroll. In the late afternoon, we head back to Albuquerque, merely a mile above sea level.
